Bishkek Snow Leopard Run 2025

On September 21, the country’s main marathon — BISHKEK SNOW LEOPARD RUN — returns to Bishkek!

This international charity race runs along the capital's central streets, including Chui Avenue, Iu. Abdrakhmanov Street, Residence (VDNKh) and Ch. Aitmatov Avenue, passing iconic monuments and historical buildings.

Part of the start fees is annually allocated to programs for the conservation of the snow leopard and its ecosystems.

The marathon is officially a part of the Association of International Marathons and Distance Races (AIMS) and since this year has also become a member of the Turkic Alliance of Long Runs (TAN), the first running association in Central Asia and the Caucasus.

GENERAL INFORMATION:

Location: Ala-Too Central Square (Start of the 5 km — Ormon Khan Monument)

Distances: 5 km, 14 km, 21.1 km, 42.2 km

Kulikov Kid’s Run: 100 m, 300 m, 500 m, 1 km.

DISTANCES AND CATEGORIES:

5 km:

Everyone from 14 years of age and older is allowed to participate in the 5 km race.

Participant's age is defined as full years of age as of the start date.

Categories:

* awarding is made among amateurs, in Absolute format (men and women from 1st to 3rd place).

• Absolute men and Absolute women;

14 km:

Everyone from 16 years of age and older is allowed to participate in the 14 km race.

Participant’s age is defined as full years of age as of the start date.

Categories:

• Absolute men and Absolute women;

• Persons with Disabilities: absolute men and absolute women.

21.1 km:

Everyone from 18 years of age and older is allowed to participate in the 21.1 km race.

Participant’s age is defined as full years of age as of the start date.

*awarding is made among amateurs, from 1st to 3rd place (men and women) in age categories, as well as in Absolute format (men and women from 1st to 3rd place).

Categories:

• Absolute men and Absolute women;
• М16-29, W16-29 – men and women 16-29 years old;
• М30-39, W30-39 – men and women 30-39 years old;
• М40-49, W40-49 – men and women 40-49 years old;
• М50-59, W50-59 – men and women 50-59 years old;
• М60+, W60+ – men and women aged 60 and above.

42.2 km:

Everyone from 18 years of age and older is allowed to participate in the 42.2 km race.

Participant’s age is defined as full years of age as of the start date.

*awarding is made among amateurs, from 1st to 3rd place (men and women) in age categories, as well as in Absolute format (men and women from 1st to 3rd place).

REGISTRATION:

Registration for the Bishkek Snow Leopard Run is open from March 24 to September 15, 2025.

Name-personalized bibs are available until August 10.

* Registration will close earlier if the participant cap of 4500 (for the 5 km, 14 km, 21.1 km, and 42.2 km distances) is reached.

Registration for Kulikov Kid’s Run is open from July 1 to September 15, 2025.

*Registration for children’s races (100 m, 300 m, 500 m, and 1 km) will close early if the cap of 500 participants is reached.

How to register for the Bishkek Snow Leopard Run?

● Scroll to the top of the Bishkek Snow Leopard Run event page;

● Select your race category and distance, and proceed to “Registration”;

● Complete the participant form and pay the registration fee by selecting the appropriate online payment method. Confirmation of online payment can take from a few hours to a day;

● Once registered, check your name in the list of participants;

● Distance changes or transfer of registration to another person is allowed until August 10, 2025, upon completion of a special form and payment of a 200 (two hundred) KGS processing fee

Payment of the entry fee (5, 14, 21.1 and 42.2 km) online at the official website www.nomadsport.net.

- When registering from June 1 to June 15 – 2200 som

- When registering from June 16 to June 30 – 2400 som

- When registering from July 1 to July 15 – 2600 som

- When registering from July 16 to July 31 – 2800 som

- When registering from August 1 to August 15 – 3000 som

- When registering from August 16 to August 31 – 3200 som

- When registering from September 1 to September 15 – 3400 som.

Payment of the entry fee for the distance Kulikov Kids Run (100 m, 300 m, 500 m and 1 km) from July1 to September 15 on the official website www.nomadsport.net and when registering offline in the office of Nomad Sport - 800 som.

Payment of the entry fee for the distances (5, 14, 21.1 and 42.2 km) at the Nomad Sport office is 200 KGS more expensive.

* Participants over 60 years of age will receive a 25% discount off the offline price (from the current price) when registering beginning March 24, 2025.

*Persons with disabilities of various groups from March 24, 2025 are entitled to a discount of 50% off the offline cost (of the current cost) on presentation of a disability certificate.

START PACK:

The start pack can only be collected by the runner in person. In order to receive the start pack, it is necessary to present:

– copy of identification card (ID)

– a completed statement, download template

Persons under 18 years of age must present:

– copy of passport or birth certificate

– completed parental waiver, download template

* The date, time and venue of the race may be changed in case of force majeure circumstances (force majeure) occurring after registration. In this case, all participants will be notified via SMS, e-mail and on our official Instagram page.
