INTERNATIONAL RUN “SAVE THE SNOW LEOPARD”
Run along the central streets of Bishkek is a unique opportunity to see the city in a new light and contribute to the preservation of the symbol of the Kyrgyz Republic - Snow Leopard.
The International Run “Save the Snow Leopard” is one of the charity international half-marathons and 50% of the starting fees of the participants will go to the Global Program for the Conservation of the Snow Leopard and its Ecosystems (GSLEP).

General information
Route
The route of the race will run along the central streets of Bishkek, past monuments and historical buildings.
The central square of Ala-Too will turn into a multicolored, bubbling and running sea after the starting ring-back tone.
For the first time, spectators and fans can take seats along the track, and citizens can look out of windows and doors to welcome the runners.
The race includes four courses of 1 km, 5 km, 14 km and 21.1 km
The Kids Run on 100m, 200m and 500m race is also available for children from 3 to 11 years of age.
1 km - Distance of Solidarity
Participants in the course will be able to run in solidarity and support of the global idea of a half-marathon to preserve the snow leopards. Everyone can choose the course: top officials of the state, representatives of state authorities, employees of organizations, athletes and amateurs of active recreation.
The starting and finishing town will be located on the central Ala-Too square, where there is a state historical museum, and on a large pedestal there is a statue of the national Baatyr Manas.
Next to Manas you can see the official flagpole, where the main symbol of the country’s independence is waving, which awakens in every strength and spirit of patriotism.
Start in the heart of Bishkek athletes will run a circle along Chui Avenue, cover the area of Erkindik Boulevard and run along a straight street Kievskaya, where a monument to Chyngyz Aitmatov is erected.
After wrapping up Panfilov Street, they’ll go to the finish line along Chui Avenue.
THE DISTANCE TO JARAIT-CITY 5 KM
Participants of the 5 km course start from the monument to Ormon Han and along C. Aitmatov Avenue will go to the finish line at the central square of Ala-Too.
On the way they will see the monument of Ormon-Khan, Manas Cinema, Asia Mall Shopping and Entertainment Center, Kyrgyz National Philharmonic Society named after T. Satylganov and the statue of the national Baatyr Manas.
THE DISTANCE ON 14 KM AND 21 KM
The participants of the 14 km distance and 21 km half-marathon will have an opportunity to see the main sights of Bishkek: Ala-Too Square, Telecom building, Abdyrakhmanov Street, smoothly flowing to Baitik Baatyr Street, Victory Park named after Dair Asanov, Ormon-Khan Monument, Kyrgyz National Philharmonic Society named after T. T.Satylganova Avenue, Manas Avenue flowing into the great writer Chyngyz Aitmatov Avenue, Manas Cinema, Shopping Mall “Asia Mall”, Kyrgyz National Philharmonic Society named after T. Satylganov and the statue of the national Baatyr Manas.
For the first time, the participants will see such reviews that Bishkek will be transformed in the eyes of every runner and will appear in a new noble light.
AGE GROUPS:
The 1 km course is open to competitors aged 12 and over. The solidarity course is open to all and has no age groups.

QUALIFICATION IN THE PRO CATEGORY:
Registration of athletes in the Elite category in the 21 km course is made after passing the electronic registration on the website.
REGISTRATION:
Registration for the international run “Save the Snow Leopard” will last until May 30, 2020. Registration will close earlier when the limit of 7,000 people is reached.
Registration can be done online at www.nomadsport.net.

Participation in the race for 1 km from 12 years.
Participation in the race for 5 km from 16 years.
Participation in the race for 14 km and 21 km from 18 years.

AWARDING
Absolute score:
In the 21 km distance, participants in the PRO category are awarded 1st to 6th places in the men’s and women’s absolute championship.
In the 14 km course, participants are awarded 1st to 6th places in the men’s and women’s absolute championship.
In the 5 km course, participants are awarded 1st to 3rd places in the men’s and women’s absolute championship.
AGE CATEGORIES
Men and women in age categories 18-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65 and older are, as well as people with health disabilities warded in the 21 km distance among amateurs from the 1st to the 3rd places.
